Rainbow Rescue is a charitable organization, which was formed out of a deep concern for the increasing number of children who are being forced to live on the streets of our cities, due to poverty, breakdown in family life and / or social services or abuse. Our focus is male children who, if left alone are likely to develop negative lifestyles.
Formed in January 1999, our organization is comprised of a group of concerned individuals, committed to providing care and rehabilitation for the socially displaced and “At Risk” youths of Trinidad & Tobago. Most of our members have been associated with the development of youth for quite a number of years either through their own profession or through association with other NGOs.
That every child is prepared to meet their desired goals and make a positive contribution to society.
To be a haven of hope for the socially displaced children by empowering them to meet their full potential.
To create a sense of family, in a caring environment. We firmly believe that “Family Care Homes” are a sensible method of helping solve the problems of the socially displaced youth who may eventually resort to drug abuse and/or crime.
